Busy weekend, and just like that, Sandhill crane season is over until next year. Congratulations to 11-year-old Ryan Amos DeWitt. He got what he came for. Yes sir, his first crane. Proud dad, Travis DeWitt, and little sis, Scarlett, who was our spotter, did a great job too!

Throughout my years hunting, fishing, guiding, and outfitting, I’ve come to realize it’s not the amount of animals or fish you see or catch it’s the experience and the memories you make. Let me say with gilbert he treats you like family. He treated us as his own family and work extremely hard to get us animals but also give us an experience that will last forever in my mind and my son and daughter. I look forward to many more years and memories hunting and fishing with him with my family.
